Quantifiers

Education English | Quantifiers | Hairston and Ruszkiewicz (1996) say that quantifiers are words that precede and modify nouns. They tell us how many or how much. Selecting the correct quantifier depends on your understanding the distinction between
Countable and Uncountable Nouns. Moreover, Badalamenti et.al (2000:175) say that quantifiers are words or phrases that show how many things or how much of something we have. Furthermore, Cowan (2008:194) says that quantifiers are a set of determiners that indicate an amount or number of something. Based on description above, quantifiers are words that used to indicate the quantity of something with the correct form between countable nouns and uncountable nouns.
