The Used Of Adjectives

Adjectives is word that names a quality, or that defines or limits a noun.

• Sometime we use two or more adjectives together

Adjectives like new, large,round,wooden are  fact  adjectivs. they givesus objectives. they give us objectives information about something (age,size,colour, etc.). Adjectives like nice, beautiful are opinion adjectives. They tell us why someone thinks of something. Opinion adjectives usually go before fact adjectives:

opinion :                                                fact : 

a nice                                                   sunny               day
delicious                                                hot                 soup
an intelegent,                                          young            man
a beautiful                                              large around wooden    table

•  Sometimes there are two or more fact adjectives. Very often (but not always) we put adjectives in this order :

How big ?     +    noun                       
How old?     +  noun 
What colour? +  noun 
Where from? +  noun 
What is it made  of ?  +  noun 
what is its purpose ?  +  noun 

Adjectives of size and length (big,small, short, long) usually go before adjectives of shape (round, fat, thin, slim, wide )
example :a large table
               a tall thin girl

• When two or three adjectives come together, we sometimes put and with them and sometimes not.

 example :

1. a tall, dark, handsome cowboy
2. a small,shiny, black leather hanbag.

However and is possible  when the adjectives say the same kind of thing (for example, when,whose those two adjectives describes characater, colour or material.
example :

1. a cruel and vicious tyrant
2. a tall and elegant lady
3. a yellow and black sport car
4. a concrete and glass factory
