Speaking : Expressing Denial

Education English | Speaking : Expressing Denial | Study the talk !
Ronald and Robi are attending a traditional Javanese wedding ceremony.
Ronald : I think the groom's traditional custom does not suit him very well. It is a bit too loose.
Robi : It is just like should be.

"I don't think so," is Robi expression of denying Ronal's opinion about the groom's traditional custome. Robi doesn't think that the groom's custome is too bid. He thinks it suits the groom well.

There are other expressions we can use for denying, such as I deny that,,,not at all ; that's not true; Not really; No, you are wrong.

Look at other examples :
1. Dany and Eldo are friend. They haven't seen each other for a long time.
Eldo : You are a rich man now. Your car is new.
Dany : No, you are wrong, that is my father's car.
2. Heny suppose that Ria has good English ability.
Heny : Your English is excellent , I think.
Ria : No, not at all. I have not passed my TOEFL test yet.
