English Grammar : Prepositional Phrase

Education English | English Grammar : Prepositional Phrase | A prepositional phrases is a preposition and the noun following it. The preposition is in the head position and the noun is in the complement position.

Please note that the prepositions are words such as in, from , to etc. used before a noun or a pronoun to show a place, a position , time or method.

Here are other examples of prepositional phrases :
-That man is from Thailand
-We will discuss the matter after breakfast
-She put the book on the table.
-The fisherman is in the palace. He is offering his rich to the king.
