Conditional Sentence

Type 1 : Real situation in the present future
If + present tense, future tense

Type 2 : Unreal Situation in the present time

If + pas tense, would Could + V1

Example :
If I had a lot of money, I would buy a luxorious car.

Fact : you don’t have a lot of money, so you don’t buy a luxorious car.
if I were a president, I would give a computer to every student in the school.

Fact : you are not a president, so you don’t give a computer to every student in school.

Type 3 : unreal situation in the past
If + past perfect, would,could, might + perfect infinitive.
Example :

- If he had known your phone number, he would have called you.

Fact : he did not know your phone number, so he did not call you.

- If she hadnot driven her car carelessly, she wouldnot have had the accident

Fact : she drove her car carelessly, she had the accident
