Grammar : Adverb of Frequency

An adverb of frequency indicates that frequency of an event or activity.
It answer the question "How often...?"
examples : always, usually, often, sometimes, rarely, seldom, never.

Adverbs of frequency come before verbs :

Ronald
Dose he

often
always
Cheats in exams.
Reads the newspaper in the morning
 Come to the class on time?

Adverb of frequency came after be.

Adverb of frequency can also be in the form of phrases (examples:three times a day, once a week ). They are placed at the end of sentence.
Example :
  • He comes here twice a week.
  • Please feed the rabbits three times a day.
