Education English | Narrative Text : Prince Igor and the Beautiful Irina |One day in a faraway kingdom, the King had to go away, Because of this, he left to his son keys to every door in the palace. The king told his son that he could go into any room he pleased, except the one opened by the golden key.
Yet it was the room that Prince Igor interested first. There he found only a telescope, which he took to the window. At once he saw a beautiful girl, who was smiling from a castle tower. She was a distant, yet that smile was enough got prince Igor to fall head over heels in love with her.
When the king returned, he realized at once what had happened,'why did you you disobey me?"he asked his son.
"father, please forgive me" begged Igor. "You must help me find the maiden of whom I dream so much".
"The dangers of the journey are many," said the king. " Do you think you are steadfast enough to confront them?"
Prince Igor gave his father every assurance, so the king consented. Then, as protection for his son from the dangers he would meet, the king gave him his magic ring. thus Igor arrived unharmed at the castle he had dreamt about.
The next day, Irina for this was the name of the princess with the beautiful smile was walking in the park. Suddenly she found herself face to face with the handsome young man she had seen in a dream and with whom she had fallen completely in love. Igor was amazed by her joy, and asked "do you know me?
"I have seen you in a dream" Irina replied sweetly.
"I too have seen you in my dreams" said Igor, in turn' but now I have found you and if you will accept me, we shall live together in my father's palace"
When Igor's father saw the young couple arriving, he rushed out to meet them. " You are welcome, beautiful Irina," he addressed the princess.
Then the king gave orders to prepare a great feast and there were long and joyful celebrations in the castle.
