Fairy tales are stories either created or strongly influenced by oral traditions. While each culture of the world has it's own body of folk tales and fairy tales that it considers " it's own certain themes ten a to be repeated across many cultures and time periods. Folk tales and fairy tales are old, old stories, down by word of mouth for hundreds of years, and nobody knows who the original author was. Thus, fairy tales are used as the media in teaching writing narrative text by the researcher because they are very appropriate as the example of the students in studying narrative text. By reading fairy tales, the students can identity the grammar, the genre of narrative text and also the conjunctions are usually used in narrative text. So that they will be able to help the students in writing narrative text. Besides that they will make the students more interesting if they using in teaching and learning process.
