Education English | Narrative Text : Purbasari and Purbararang | A long time ago, there lived on old king. He had two daughters , Purbarangrang and Purbasari . The king wanted to retire as a king. He wanted Purbasari to replace him as the leader of the kingdom. When hearing this Purbararang was angry because she wan to be a leader of the kingdom too. On the following morning, Purbararang went to a witch and then asked her to put a spell on Purbasari as soon as she came back to the palace, her sister, Purbasari looked very awful. There were a black dots all over Purbasari's skin. THis was a disgrace to a royal family. Consequently, Purbasari had to leave the palace and live in the jungle.
While in the jungle, Purbasari spent her time playing with a monkey that could talk like humans. One day, the monkey asked her to take a bath in a small lake. Surprisingly, Purbasari's skin was cured.
Finally, Purbasari went back to the palace and became the queen.
