• red, blue, yellow, green, and orange food colouring:
• water:
• five small jars:
• five celery stalks.
1. Put two centimeters of water in each jar. Add a few drops of colouring, red in one jar, blue in the next, and so on.
2. Put a stick of celery in each jar, with the thicker end in the water. Leave the jars for two hours. When you come back, you’ll see the celery has changed colour. You’ve made a rainbow salad!
