1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup oat brown
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup almond flakes
2 large green apples
1 egg
2/3 cup milk
60 gr butter melted

Instructions :
Turn oven to 220 C
Grease 12 muffin
Sift flour into a bowl , add sugar oat bran, cinnamon and almonds
Peel and grate the apples
Put them into the bowl
Mix egg, milk and melted butter in a jug
Add to bowl all at once
Stir with a fork
Stir  until just mixed
Almost fill the muffin with the butter
Bake in oven for 15-20 minutes until golden
Serve the muffin warm butter and jam

• 75 gr unsalted butter
• 6 large onions, peeled and sliced
• salt and pepper
• 1 tbs brown sugar
• 600 ml beef stock
• 60 gr plain flour
• 2 tsp soy sauce
• 1 tsp worcester sauce
• 6 slices of french bread
• 6 tbsp grated cheese

Method :

Melt butter slowly, then add sliced onion, a pinch of salt and pepper and the sugar. Cook on a low heat, stirring from time to time until the onions have browned. Then , add beef stock and bring to the boil. Sift the flour , stirring hard to avoid lumps , add chicken stock, simmer for 3 until 4 hours, add sauces and finally top each bowl with bread and cheese, and place under grill for two minutes until cheese has melted , the bowl will be hot so warn your guests. It is very filling soup you won't want much else to eat. It should be served for 4 to 6 people.

• 1 glass of water

Methods :

1. Slice a lemon in half and squeeze the juice into a cup
2. Take out the seeds
3. Pour two tablespoons of juice into glass
4. Add sugar
5. Add water and stir well
6. Taste the lemonade. You may add more sugar or more lemon to make it taste just right
7. Put it in ice cubes. A drop of red food coloring will make pink lemonade

As Filling

• 500 gr prawn, peel and chopped or grind
• 1/4 pc garlic, make a paste
• 2 tbs corn flour or starch
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp pepper

As Wonton skin 

• 100 gr flour
• 10 gr corn flour or strarch
• 2 tsp butter
• 50 cc hot water
• a pinch of salt

Instructions :
Filling : Mix all the filling ingredient
Wonton Skin :

1. Mix flour, corn flour/starch, butter and salt. Add the hot water little by little and keep mixing for about is some minutes.
2. Keep it cool for about 10 minutes
3. Take a small ball at the dough and flattened it by bottle or wooden roller
4. Do the same four the rest of the dough
5. Take on piece of the wonton skin, fill with the filling in the middle and fold it up wise and leave the top open.
6. Steam for about 20 minutes
7. Serve hot with chili sake.

Make sure the slices of bread or the sandwiches go all the way down inside the baskets, for a good and even toasting result.Just put e.g beef and cheese between two thin slices of bread.

2. Select the desired toasting time by turning the timer knob clockwise . You can use also turn the timer knob counterclockwise to 0 if you want to reset the toasting time.

- select a short toasting time (1-2 minutes) for a light  toasting result.

-select a medium toasting time (3 to 4 minutes) for a medium toasting result.

-select a long toasting time (5-6 minutes) for a dark toasting result.

3. Little bread basket out of the toaster by means of the handles. Avoid touching the metal parts as they got hot during toasting.

Note :

- If the bread is damp or if you have put a lot of ingredients between the slices, the appliance will need a longer toasting time to produce the same toasting result.

- When the toaster is cold. you will need a slightly longer toasting time (approx 1 minutes extra) to get the same result. Never toast the bread longer than 6 minutes , to prevent the bread from burning.

5 onions
10 candlenuts
10 garlic powder
4 bay leaves
1/2 lb (250gr) green jack fruit
2 1/2 tsp (12 gr) coriander sugar
1/4 cup (62 ml) coconut sugar
2 cups (500ml) coconut milk
2 tsp (30 gr) tamarind
2 lb (1kg) chicken (cut into small pieces with bone)
5 cups water
2 inches bruised galangat

Instructions :

• First, cut green jack fruit 1 inch thick. Wash and boil until tender
• Grind onions, candlenuts, bay leaves and galangal until fragrant 
• Add the chicken pieces , stir fry until chicken changes color
• Next pour 4 cups of water and coconut sugar bring to boil.
• Add the green jack fruit and simmer until the chicken and vegetables are tender
• Finally, add coconut milk 5 minutes before it's done, bring back to boil. serve hot with rice
• This dish is sweet and usually served with shrimp crackers.

Education English | Procedure Text : Malaysian Women Suggested to Carry Condoms | Malaysian Deputy Health Ministry urged every woman to carry a condom to protect against HIV, a news report said.

“This is not to debate them but to protect them. Women are the first ones to get exploited by their partners (whom are infected by HIV-positive)” Abdul Latiff Ahmad was quoted as saying by Sunday Star Newspaper. “But this just a suggestion, it’s up to them”.
Abdul latiff made remark to coincide with the International Aids Memorial day, which was celebrated openly for the first time in Malaysia, in bid to reduce stigma for HIV-victim. In the past the event was held behind closed door.
Last year, 745 Malaysian women were identified as HIV-positive and 193 were diagnosed with AIDS, he said in the report. Officials have said nearly 81000 Malaysian have been infected with HIV, less then 10 percent are woman, but the number is steadily rising.
Malaysian Aids Council president, Adeebah Kamarulzaman, was quoted as saying besides sex workers, many women who contract HIV are housewives, were infected unknowingly by their husbands. “It’s not that people don’t know that condoms can protect them. But there are some men who don’t care to take precaution, even though they know they have HIV” she said.

• 1 teaspoon mushrooms soy sauce

Steps :

1. Fry garlic, onions, ginger and green peppers until fragrant
2. Add ear mushrooms and bean sprouts. Stir until wilted
3. Pour Mushroom soy sauce . salt and pepper . Cook until absorbed. Add the sesame oil.Stirr well.

• 50 grams bean sprouts
• 75 grams winged bean (halved lengthwise)
• 15 grams cucumber

• 100 grams fried tofu
• 250 grams cingur kikil (cow's skin boiled)

For sauce :

• 6-9 pieces chili
• 2 tbs fried peanuts
• 200 grams shrimp paste
• 1 banana grated coarse stone
• 1 tsp tamarind
• 55 cc boiled water

Directions :

1. Boil kale, and winged bean sprouts until cooked, remove from heat
2. Cut the cucumber, yam, young mango, fried tempe, fried tofu and cingur set aside
3. Create a salad seasoning paste, grind chili, shrimp paste, fried peanuts and paste until well blended

Education English | Procedure Text : The Brine Effect | You will need : table salt, a large glass, an egg, a teaspoon, a dessert spoon and water.

How to do it:
1. We half fill the glass with water. Then, using the dessert spoon, we carefully put the egg in water. The egg sinks to the bottom

2.Now we add 10 tablespoons of salt in water and mix thoroughly to make brine.

3. We put the egg in the water again. The egg floats. We take the egg out and slowly fill the glass totally.

5. We put in the egg again.
The egg remains suspended in the centre of the glass.

Do you know why? In the first stage, the egg was denser than clear water, so it sank. In the second stage, salt water (brine) was denser than clear water, helping the egg to float. Finally, when clear water was added, it floated on the brine, making the egg sty in the middle, as it has more density than clear water, but less than the brine.

Turn the shape so that the long side is facing top . after that fold up the point at the end to make a tail. Finally draw a face on your whale.

Melt one quarter cup of butter, Mix together in a separate dish one cup of white sugar, one cup of brown sugar, one-quarter cup of molasses and one-half , cup of cream.
Add this to the butter. After it has been rapidly.
Then add two squares of chocolate, scrapped fine.
Boil this five minutes,stirring it first rapidly, and then more slowly towards the end.
After it has been taken from the fire, add one and one-half  teaspoonfuls of vanilla.
Then stir constantly until the mass thickens.
Pour into buttered pan and set in a cool place.

- Small bottle - Paint brush
- Hot and cold water - String
- Scissors - Large glass jar
- Red food colouring

1. Cut a long piece of string. Tie one end firmly around the neck of the bottle.
2.Tie the other end of the piece of string around the neck of the bottle to make a loop.
3. Pour cold water into the large glass jar until it is about three quarters full.
4. Fill the bottle with hot water. Add food colouring to turn the water bright red.
5.Hold the bottle by the loop of string. Lower it gently into the jar of cold water.
6. The hot red water rises from the bottle like smoke from an erupting volcano.
