• 6 tablespoon of salt
• 6 tablespoon of water
• Rubber gloves
• 2 tablespoon of household ammonia
• Food coloring
• 3-4 charcoal briquets

Steps :

1. Lay out a sheet of newspaper to protect your work surface. Put 2 tablespoons of salt into a cup or container
2. Add 6 tablespoon of water to the salt. Stir the mixture until the salt has dissolved. Now you have a solution
3. Wearing gloves. Add 2 tablespoon of ammonia to the salt water solution.
4. Stir the solution briefly to mix the ingredients
5. Place the briquets in the foil pie plate
6. Add some color by dropping food coloring onto the briquets in a  places.
7. Pour your salt solution over the briquets but do not completely cover them.
8. Leave the dish outside on a window ledge and wait for the crystals to grow. Over the next few days they will grow into a colorful crystals garden made of fluffy crystals
