The glockenspiel has metal bars that sound ringing and enchanting. It is often played by a keyboard, called a celesta. Only the kettledrums are regular percussion sections of the orchestra in Western music.

Report Text : My Village
I live in a small village named Sungai Gerong. It is 30 kilometers from Palembang City. Most of people in my village work as employees in a government oil company. Although the village is far from the city, it has all the facilities needed such as ; post offices, banks, supermarkets, schools, mosque, churches, police stations, bus stations, hospitals, and hotels. People in my village don’t come to the post every often. They usually come there when there is a big day, for example ; Lebaran or Christmas, to send greeting cards to their friends or relatives.
The bank in my village is not as big as the bank city. It is only a branch of a government bank. People must come to that bank if they want withdraw money because there is no automatcic teller machine in our village. Although we live in a small village, we can buy our daily needs without any problems because our village supermarket has everything we need.
There are four school levels in my village ; kindergarten, elementary, junior and senior high school. The school buildings are not far from each other. They are located in the same area. This condition makes the parents not spending too much time when they take or pick up their children to or from school.
Mooslem people in my village pray together in a big mosuque near the school. Meanwhile, the Christians pray in church in front of the bank.
To keep condition of our village secure, there is a police station near the village entrance. People who want to visit the village must get out from their vehicle and ask for permission. The police who guard the station always take their identification card and give it back after they leave our village. Besides all facilities mentioned above, my village also has some sport facilities. People use it to make use of their leisure time. They play football, volleyball, or basketball there. These sport facilities also become a good medium to strengthen people’s togetherness in our village.

Report Text : Two Sculptor
Have you made a turtle or an elephant out of clay? This is the way many sculptors begin work on a large statue. They make a small model out of clay. Then they follow the same lines as they carve or mold their large pieces.
Sculptors often carve things they see around them. This might be a person or an animal. Some carve figures that show feeling, such as sorrow or happiness. Stil others carve figures that tell of an idea, such as power.
Marina Nunez del Prado, a famous sculptor of Bolivia , liked to make statues of figures from Bolivian Indian Stories. Her work remind us of a long times ago.
Edmonia Lewis was a sculptor from New York . She had a black father and an Indian mother. Her Indian name was Wildfire. Edmonia wanted her statues to show feelings.
One of her statues is called Hagar in the Wilderness. Hagar, a woman of the Bible and her son were forced to wander in the desert. Hagar’s face looks tired and sad. People who look at Edmonia’s statue understand how all women felt who have suffered. Do you think a statue can show the idea ?

Report Text : What Are Thunder and Lightning?
Education English | Report Text : What Are Thunder and Lightning? | Lightning is a sudden, violent flash of electricity between a cloud and the ground, or from cloud to cloud. A lightning flash, or bolt, can be several miles long. It is so hot, with an average temperature of 34,000° Centigrade, that the air around it suddenly expands with a loud blast. This is the thunder we hear.
Lightning occurs in hot, wet storms. Moist air is driven up to a great height. It forms a type of cloud called cumulonimbus. When the cloud rises high enough, the moisture freezes and ice crystals and snowflakes are formed. These begin to fall, turning to rain on the way down. This rain meets more moist air rising, and it is the friction between them which produces static electricity. When a cloud is fully charged with this electricity, it discharges it as a lightning flash.

Report Text : The Car Of The Future
A pessimist is a person who always expects bad things to happen. Pessimists think that today’s car are in trouble because the use too much gas. They say the car of the future will be much, much smaller. The car of tomorrow will have no heater and no airconditioning. It will have no radio and no lights. Tomorrow’s car will be an open air car with no doors and windows. It won’t need a pollution control system because it won’t use gas. In fact drivers will push this new car with their feet. Very few people will be killed in accidents, because the top speed will be five miles per hour. However, pessimists warn us not to ask for pretty colours, because the car will come in gray only.
Optimists are sure that the future will be happy. They think that car companies will soon solve all our problems by producing the Supercar. Tommorow’s car will be bigger, faster, ad more comfortable than before. The Supercar will have four rooms, clour TV, running water, heat, air conditioning and a swimming pool. Large families will travel on long trips in complete comfort. If gas in short supply, the Supercar will run on water. Finally optimists promise that the car of the future will come in any colour, as long as the colour is not gray.

Infections with avian influenza viruses in domestic poultry causes two main forms of disease that are distinguished by low and high extremes for virulence. The low pathogenic form may go undetected and usually causes only mild symptoms (such as ruffled feathers and a drop in egg production). However the highly from spreads more rapidly thorugh flocks of poultry. This form may cause disease that affects multiple internal organs and has a mortality rate that can reach 90-100% often within 48 hours.

Report Text : The Indonesian Archipelago
Education English | Report Text : The Indonesian Archipelago | Indonesia is a country in Southeast Asia that consists of more than 13,000 islands. The islands lie along the equator and extend more than 5,000 kilometers. Many of the islands cover only a few square kilometers. But about a half of New Guinea and three quarters of Borneo also belong to Indonesia. Those islands are the second-and-third largest islands in the world, after Greenland. Many geographers divide the more than 13,600 islands of Indonesia into three groups: (1) the Greater Sunda Islands, (2) the lesser Sunda Islands, and (3) the Mollucas. Indonesia also includes Irian Jaya, which is part of New Guinea.
The Greater Sunda includes Borneo, Sulawesi, Java and Sumatra. The Lesser Sunda Islands extend from Bali eastward to Timor. The Mollucas lie between Sulawesi and New Guinea. The western part of New Guinea is called Irian Jaya, an Indonesian territory. Compared to the other regions, Irian Jaya is the most thinly populated.
